Terms of service
Last updated: 17 October 2026
Draft
Draft — must be reviewed and completed by the operator before launch.
1. Scope
These terms govern your use of INMB, the budgeting app at budget.netcope.ch, including its website, web app and API (the “service”). The service is provided by [Operator name, address] (“we”, “us”). By creating an account you accept these terms.
If you are a consumer, mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.
2. The service
INMB helps you plan and track your personal finances using zero-based budgeting. INMB is a tool: it does not provide financial, tax or legal advice, and it does not connect to your bank or move money. You are responsible for the data you enter and for your financial decisions.
We continuously develop the service and may change, add or remove features, provided the core purpose of the service stays intact.
3. Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. We recommend passkeys or two-step verification. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least [18] years old, or have the consent of a legal guardian.
4. Free trial
New accounts get a free trial of 30 days with full access. No payment details are required for the trial, and the trial does not turn into a paid subscription automatically. If you subscribe during the trial, billing starts when the trial ends.
5. Subscriptions and payment
After the trial, continued use requires a paid subscription, monthly or yearly. The current prices are shown on the pricing page and at checkout, in Swiss francs [including/excluding VAT — operator to confirm].
Subscriptions are paid in advance through our payment provider Stripe and renew automatically for the same period until cancelled. You can switch between monthly and yearly; the change is prorated by Stripe.
We may change prices for future periods. We will announce price changes at least 30 days in advance; you can cancel before the new price applies.
If a payment fails, Stripe retries it. If it still fails, access to your plans may be suspended until payment is made.
6. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time in Settings → Plan & billing. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; until then you keep full access. You can also delete your account at any time, which ends your subscription and permanently deletes your data.
If your trial or subscription ends, your plans are locked, but you can still export your data and delete your account.
7. Refunds
[Draft policy — operator to confirm:] If you are not satisfied, you can request a full refund of your first payment within 14 days of that payment by contacting [support email]. Beyond that, payments already made are not refunded, including for unused parts of a billing period, unless the law requires otherwise or we terminate the contract without cause.
8. Your data
Your budget data belongs to you. We process it only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy policy. You can export your plans as JSON or CSV at any time, including after your trial or subscription has ended.
You are responsible for keeping your own copies of important data. We take reasonable care to protect and back up data but cannot guarantee that data will never be lost.
9. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the service, in particular:
— attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service, other accounts or our systems;
— interfere with or overload the service, including by circumventing rate limits;
— use the service for unlawful purposes or to store unlawful content;
— resell or sublicense access to the service without our written consent;
— reverse engineer the service, except where the law allows it.
API access is subject to the rate limits described on the developer page.
10. Availability
We aim to keep the service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, updates and events beyond our control can cause interruptions. Where possible, we schedule maintenance at quiet times.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that seriously or repeatedly breach these terms, or when required by law. Where reasonable, we will warn you first and give you the opportunity to export your data. If we terminate the service as a whole, we will give at least [60] days’ notice and refund prepaid fees for the period after termination.
12. Liability
We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, and for personal injury. To the extent permitted by law, any further liability — in particular for slight negligence, indirect or consequential damage, lost profit and lost data — is excluded. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the damaging event.
INMB shows the figures you enter and import; we are not liable for decisions you make based on them.
13. Third-party services
Some features rely on third-party services that you choose to use, such as Stripe for payments, Telegram for statement import or YNAB for migration. Their terms apply to your use of them. INMB is not affiliated with YNAB LLC; YNAB is a trademark of YNAB LLC.
14. Changes to these terms
We may amend these terms for valid reasons, such as changes to the service or the law. We will notify you of material changes at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the change applies; continued use afterwards counts as acceptance.
15. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Swiss law, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). The place of jurisdiction is [city], Switzerland. Consumers may also sue at their place of residence, and mandatory places of jurisdiction remain reserved.
